Fiona (Gillan) and Charlotte (Roden) are two sisters who were pulled apart by their parents’ divorce not long after Charlotte was born. Fiona moved to Scotland with their father while Charlotte stayed with their mother in New York City. Due to bitterness between their parents, they’ve never spoken or even met each other. However, when their parents decide out of the blue to schedule a reunion, they finally get a chance to get to know each other - and find that they are much more alike than expected.
